“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:19-20).
“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (John 13:34-35).
We believe that making disciples is an expectation and a norm for CRC.
Introduction to Discipleship
Every member of our church goes through a faith-deepening experience before they become members by going through Discipleship. Discipleship is a 10 – week class studying basic spiritual principles, and the beliefs of Community Reformed Church. This class is offered as a refresher class for believers and is also used as a tool for those wishing to join CRC to become better acquainted with the church. People make connections with each other as they study God’s Word and learn life-long habits to enrich their faith. The class is offered twice a year or as often as requested.
*Discipleship can also take place in a one-one one experience.
